About me

I am Stefan Tomek – a business consultant, psychosocial counselor, coach and trainer.

My work combines strategic corporate management, crisis management and international communication with sound psychological expertise.

Professional Background

I have been working at the family business VAOS – Value Added Oilfield Services since 1998 .

I started in the IT department , which I have managed for many years, and am responsible for the technical infrastructure and operational systems at international locations in:

• Austria

• Malta

• Libya

• Cyprus

Since the end of 2023, I have been Managing Director of VAOS and am responsible for the operational and strategic development of the company – in particular the business development and expansion in the field of industrial service and environmental services in demanding international operating regions.

International Context

I have worked for decades with multinational teams consisting of up to 29 different nationalities .

This experience shapes my expertise in:

• precise communication in extreme, challenging situations

I have lived and worked for several years in North Africa , Malta and the Mediterranean region - therefore I am specialized in communication and management structures in sometimes very remote and infrastructurally difficult areas, such as the Sahara Desert.

I speak fluent German and English , and also basic Arabic and Maltese.
