Privacy policy for personal data
I am pleased that you are interested in my website. Protecting your privacy is very important to me. I only use data that you have provided to me yourself and only for the intended purpose. I do not pass your data on to third parties without your consent and I delete your data upon request and/or when I no longer need it and/or the statutory retention periods have expired.
Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible.
Recommendation: Please make sure you establish a secure connection to the website (https://www.stefantomek.com).
Contact enquiries and my services
Personal data is collected when you voluntarily provide it to me in the course of making contact. I use this data exclusively to provide you with the information or services you have requested. Only data that is necessary to answer your enquiries or to process the contractual relationship is stored. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
Comment function
If you wish, you can comment on my blog posts. Your name will then appear below the comment, possibly with a link to your website if you have entered one. IP addresses are stored in anonymised form in the database and deleted after 60 days.
Storage of access data in server log files
You can visit this website without providing any information about yourself. Only access data is stored in so-called server log files, such as the name of the requested file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred and the requesting provider. This data is evaluated exclusively to ensure trouble-free operation of the site and to improve the offer and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.
Statistical analysis of website usage
This website uses the “Wix” plugin (provider: https://wix.com). To protect your privacy, your IP address is anonymised in the statistics. Personal identification of a visitor is therefore not possible, even retrospectively.
Newsletter
You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter via this website. For this, we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter.
As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration. You can cancel your newsletter subscription at any time. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch.
Buttons for sharing posts
Portfolio posts can be shared via Facebook and Instagram. If you decide to use these buttons (and, if necessary, log in to the respective sites), the relevant company will receive the information that you have viewed the corresponding post on this website.
You can find information on settings to protect your privacy from the respective providers, for example:
https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/
https://help.instagram.com
Use of Instagram
Functions of the Instagram service are integrated on this website. These functions are provided by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or how it is used by Instagram. For more information, please refer to Instagram’s privacy policy: https://www.instagram.com/about/legal/privacy
Use of LinkedIn
This website uses functions of the social media network LinkedIn. The provider is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Each time one of our pages containing LinkedIn functions is accessed, a connection to LinkedIn servers is established. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our website with your IP address. If you click LinkedIn buttons and are logged into your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn can assign your visit to our website to you and your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or how it is used by LinkedIn. For more information, please refer to LinkedIn’s privacy policy: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
Use of Facebook
This website uses sharing options of the social network Facebook, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA and/or 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. You can recognise Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button (“Gefällt mir”) on our site. An overview of the Facebook plugins can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/
When you visit our pages, the plugin creates a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you share a portfolio post on Facebook, Facebook can associate the visit to these pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or how it is used by Facebook. For more information, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php
If you do not want Facebook to be able to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.
